35 faculty members of the Institute of Education and Management participated in an online seminar organized by the leadership of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in order to “introduce a model of pedagogical education and strengthen its content” of the Modernization of Education project.

The K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional University, Caspian University of Technology and Engineering after Sh. Yessenov, Atyrau University after Kh. Dosmukhamedov and West Kazakhstan University after M. Utemisov with the participation of faculty of all regional universities were organized online seminar under the leadership of foreign Finnish scientists and the expert council of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School.

The purpose of the seminar:

* Developing leadership skills to support student-centered and competency-based approaches to teacher education;

* Development of syllabuses within the framework of innovative design projects;

* Identification and adaptation of best international practices;

* Reflection on your professional position and knowledge.

During the seminar, general pedagogical principles and universal topics were considered: an educational program based on competencies; a student-oriented approach and methods that promote active learning; constructive coordination; pedagogical education based on research; interdisciplinary learning; digitalization in education and the development of digital competencies of teachers; Inclusive education and the perception of various categories of students; professional development teachers and change management is considered.

The seminar provided theoretical knowledge and practical tasks, the use of active new technologies, and training in new educational platforms.
