On October 21, 2022, a practice-oriented lesson was held at Ural Transformer Plant LLP for 4th-year students of the OP «Life Safety and environmental protection».

Ural Transformer Plant is an enterprise equipped with modern equipment and advanced technologies, whose products are widely used in the energy fields of the CIS countries. The company produces a wide range of electrical equipment 90% export-oriented, which will be supplemented and meet the growing needs of the market: dry and oil transformers 6,10,20kV, with a capacity of up to 2500kVA; complete transformer substations of various types of execution; complete switchgear series CSR, KRU, KRUN for 10,20kV; block-modular buildings for various purposes; low-voltage devices.

During the lesson, students were told about the importance of the work of safety engineers, what obligations are included in their work, told about fire safety, personal protective equipment (PPE), collective protection equipment. They clearly explained how transformers are made and how an employee should work in compliance with safety regulations.
