On November, within the framework of an agreement on cooperation with an official visit, the WKITU delegation visited two large universities in Samara – Samara State Technical University and Samara State Social and Pedagogical University. During the visit, two universities held meetings with the leadership to determine the prospects for the development of cooperation in the field of education and science.

On November 19, the Samara State Technical University launched the International Forum of Architectural and Building Innovations “CITIES of the FUTURE”. The opening ceremony brought together representatives of Russian and foreign specialized universities, architects, designers, builders, investors and government officials. The central event of the forum was the International Conference on Civil, Architectural and Environmental Sciences and Technologies (CAEST). To participate in Samara, both experts from other cities of Russia and foreign guests arrived – representatives of Kazakhstan, Germany, Italy, Ukraine, the Netherlands. At the plenary meeting, Vice-rector for scientific work and international relations of WKITU Burakhta V.A. made a welcoming speech.
