Five students of West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University have been awarded educational grants from the “Qazaqstan Halqyna” Public Foundation.
The grant recipients are:
- Meirzhan Oserbayev — 6B07301 Architecture educational programme;
- Nurkasym Otuzbay — 6B07301 Architecture educational programme;
- Aidana Tanatar — 6B07301 Architecture educational programme;
- Moldirai Zhauynbayeva — 6B12301 Law Enforcement educational programme;
- Kuandyk Oserbay — 6B12301 Law Enforcement educational programme.
The main objective of the programme is to provide young people living in rural communities, small towns, and single-industry towns with equal access to quality higher education, while supporting their professional development and helping them fulfil their potential.
Under the terms of the grant, the Foundation covers each student’s tuition fees up to KZT 1 million per academic year. In addition, students receive a monthly stipend of KZT 60,000 for 10 months of the academic year.
In 2026, the “Qazaqstan Halqyna” Public Foundation awarded grants to 220 applicants to study at 38 higher and postgraduate educational institutions across Kazakhstan.
Since 2022, 40 students have been studying at West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University under grants provided by the Foundation.
