On April 12, 2022, a debate “The future of oil and its global problems” within the framework of the scientific student club “Oil without borders”, dedicated to the holiday “Day of Science Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan” was held at the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technologycall university. The event was organized by the department of oil and gas engineering of the Engineering -Humanity faculty.

During the event, Zhanar Kurmanova (responsible person), made an introductory speech and congratulated with the “Day of Science Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan” and encouraged them to participate in student scientific conferences and competitions.

According to the debate program, the two teams speakers from ND-22 group Abdesov Aldiyar, Bekbulatov Edik, Duisenov Ernar, Davletzhanov Amir; from the ND-32o group Ospanov Eldar, Dosanov Dauren, Kuramysov Islam, Sagitova Alsu took an active part.

The global problems of the oil and gas industry of Kazakhstan’s fields, long-term projects of oil and gas companies and fields, development prospects, the impact of the oil and gas industry on the economy of Kazakhstan were discussed at the round table.

At the experts Ihsanov K. A. technical sciences candidate, associate professor., Kalesheva G.E. – acting head of the oil and gas department engineering and Kurmanova Zh.B. – master degree identified the best speakers. They are Abdesov A. and Bekbulatov E. ND – 22 group, head of research student club Amanova B.N. summed up the debate. The purposes of the event have been achieved.
