On April 9, 2026, Hackathon 3.0 was held in the city of Uralsk, organized by the “Auyl” party. The event brought together 22 student teams from various universities and colleges. The aim of the hackathon was to foster innovative ideas and support technological entrepreneurship among young people.
From the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technological University, the Department of Energy, Automation and Computer Engineering, six teams participated, consisting of students and their supervisors. Among them, students of group EL-21O, Salimgerey Bekzat Kairbekuly and Yarovaya Irina Viktorovna, under the supervision of Senior Lecturer Abilgaziyev Erkebulan Nurkhanuly, presented the innovative project EnergyBike Park, aimed at implementing energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable solutions in urban infrastructure.
As a result of the hackathon, the EnergyBike Park project received high evaluation from the expert jury and was selected to participate in a mentorship program supported by K&K Startups and the “Auyl” party.
Special interest in the project was expressed by Nurbek Mussayevich Nurseytov, Chairman of the youth wing “Auyl Jastary” of the “Auyl” party in the West Kazakhstan region, who highlighted its practical significance and expressed readiness to provide full support. The possibility of implementing the project in summer 2026 at the sports ground of the Kirov Culture and Recreation Park in Uralsk is also under consideration.
This achievement demonstrates the high level of student training and their ability to develop modern innovative solutions aimed at the sustainable development of urban environments.
In addition, as part of the project, a tree-planting campaign was organized with the participation of the teams, emphasizing the importance of environmental protection and ecological awareness.
