The other day, the akim of Uralsk Mirzhan Munaidarovich Satkanov held a solemn reception for a student of the educational program “Physical Culture and Sports” of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, winner of the national championship in Astana, in freestyle wrestling, Nurzhan Isagaliev. The akim of the city congratulated the winner and wished him further success, achievements and high peaks in professional sports.

Nurzhan Isagaliev is a student of the educational program “Physical Culture and Sports” of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, winner of the Republican Universiade, member of the country’s freestyle wrestling team. The young athlete has previously repeatedly become a prize-winner at national-level competitions.

  On February 4-6, 2024, in Astana, at the championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan among adults in freestyle wrestling, organized by the Committee for Sports and Physical Culture of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he won the first place prize in the weight category 86 kg.
