On October 28, 2024, a guest lecture was held at the Department of law with students of the educational program 6b04202 jurisprudence on the topic “discussion of the draft law on the development of competition” with the Chief Specialist of the Investigation Department of the Department of the agency for protection and development of competition of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the West Kazakhstan region Halen Zhantore Temirbolatovich.
During the lesson, in order to fulfill the address of the head of state and within the framework of the de-monopolization of key markets, the agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on protection and development of competition told about the programs of the state to reduce its participation in the economy and strengthen the competitive environment.
Halen zh. t.in his speech, the competitiveness of market entities, whose independent actions effectively limit the possibility of unilateral influence of each of them on the general state of circulation of goods in the relevant commodity market, is recognized as competition.
Competition is based on the principles of: competitiveness, honesty, legality, compliance with consumer rights, which apply to all market entities in a uniform manner, in equal measure and under equal conditions, regardless of the organizational and legal form and place of registration of market entities.
The lecturer also spoke about the functions of the Investigation Department of the Department of the agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the protection and development of competition in the West Kazakhstan region. The guest answered all the questions of the students.
