On February 28, 2025, advisors and students of the Department of Energy, Automation and Computer Engineering visited the Uralsk Fire Department No. 5 in honor of Thanksgiving Day, which is celebrated annually on March 1. During the visit, students and teachers got acquainted with the work of firefighters, their duties and equipment, and also talked with the personnel of the unit. The teachers and students expressed their sincere gratitude to the rescue fighters for their selfless work, courage and willingness to risk their lives for the safety of citizens. Rescuers risk their lives every day to protect citizens from emergencies, and their professionalism plays a key role in ensuring the safety of society. The students noted the importance of firefighters’ work in preserving people’s lives and health, and also stressed how important it is to value their work and efforts. In turn, they thanked the rescuers for their willingness to always come to the rescue in the most difficult and dangerous situations, as well as for their dedication, which inspires them to actively participate in issues of safety and civic responsibility.
