K.K. Zhaniyarov, Head of the Career Guidance Department of the Directorate of Marketing and Pre-University Preparation at West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technological University, attended a parents’ meeting at the The Kushum complex “school‑nursery‑kindergarten” and conducted an information session on career guidance and university admission.

During the meeting, parents received detailed information about university admission procedures, academic programmes, opportunities available to prospective students, and the importance of choosing an appropriate field of study. Particular attention was given to the importance of preparing for the Unified National Testing (UNT), opportunities to participate in the competition for educational grants, and the main stages of the university admission process.

K.K. Zhaniyarov answered parents’ questions and highlighted the importance of providing career guidance at an early stage to help students make informed decisions about their future professions. The discussion also emphasized the role of parents in supporting their children throughout the university preparation and admission process.

The main objective of these career guidance activities is to help school students identify their professional interests, encourage them to pursue higher education, and provide parents and prospective applicants with comprehensive information about university admission opportunities.
