As part of the work of the academic service at the Institute of Industry Technologies, according to the results of the first boundary control of the spring semester, the academic mentors of the institute held an advisory hour with supervised groups.

During the meeting of students with advisors, the results of the first boundary control, as well as issues of studying disciplines, were discussed.

Students actively discussed the results of current assessments, demonstrated both with the adviser and among themselves the technique of studying materials. One of the urgent issues was the memorability of the material.

As the students themselves noted, memorability depends largely on the forms of conducting and on the way it is studied.

Students noted that all types of active learning provide the best result of learning materials and gives a higher rate of memorization of the material compared to traditional forms of learning.

Thus, through a student-oriented approach, academic mentors activate students’ creative thinking towards high learning outcomes.
