The Association of Banks of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the State Credit Bureau organized the National Competition of student projects and research in the fields of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, online fraud prevention, fintech developments, and digital solutions in the financial sector. Ruslan Duisekenov, a student from the Economics program, and Alexander Makhov, a student from the Accounting and Audit program, passed the first stage of the competition and participated in the second stage.
- Makhov presented a report on “Cybersecurity on the STEAM Online Platform” on November 11, 2025, online (Almaty).
- Duisekenov presented a presentation on “Safe Mind: An Educational Platform for Protection from Online Fraud” at Nazarbayev University in Astana on November 13, 2025.
Following the competition, students were awarded certificates, and their supervisors, Candidate of Economics, associate professor, G.K. Kurmanova, and Master of Economics, B.A. Urazova, were awarded certificates for the students’ high level of preparation.
