The Constitutional Law “On State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan” was adopted on June 4, 2007. In accordance with this Law, June 4 is annually celebrated as the Day of State Symbols in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

State symbols are one of the integral attributes of any state, reflecting its sovereignty and unity. In the Republic of Kazakhstan, the state symbols are the State Flag, the State Emblem and the National Anthem.

At a time when national and cultural values are being supplanted, and global values are becoming increasingly important, special attention must be paid to nurturing patriotism in young people. Symbols awaken a sense of patriotism in young people, encourage patriotism and instill courage in them. Respect for symbols is respect for the country. This is a great incentive for the future of our homeland, and for our youth, it is a great source of pride. In order to promote state symbols, a nationwide ceremony of raising the State Flag with the simultaneous performance of the National Anthem was held in Uralsk on June 4, 2025. The event was attended by the faculty,  magistrands and students of our university.
