From January 14 to January 20, a scientific seminar of departments was held at the Institute of Industrial Technologies of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technological University, aimed at summarizing and discussing the results of research activities.

The seminar was attended by faculty members, doctoral students, and postgraduate students of the Institute. During the sessions, reports were presented and discussed on the key areas of scientific activity, including:

– Implementation of scientific and scientific-technical projects funded through grant financing of the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as projects submitted for grant funding competitions.

– Execution of research works commissioned by enterprises and organizations, including contract-based R&D projects.

– Reports on the implementation of research works within comprehensive and initiative research topics of the departments.

– Reports on research activities of doctoral students of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan and postgraduate students of universities of the Russian Federation for 2025.

– Summarizing the results of the scientific seminar, discussion of current issues, and identification of priority directions for further development of scientific activities.

The scientific seminar contributed to the systematization of research results, identification of current challenges, and determination of перспективas for further development of scientific activities at the Institute of Industrial Technologies of WKITU.

On January 26, 2026, the outcomes of the scientific seminar were reviewed at a separate working meeting with the participation of faculty members directly involved in research activities. During the meeting of the working group, the results of the presented reports, current issues in the development of research activities, as well as proposals for further improvement of the Institute’s research activities were discussed.
