On February 6, 2025, at the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University, under the organization of the Department of Physical Culture and Informatics, a competition of innovative ideas and business projects “IT StartUP” was held. The main goal of the competition is to develop entrepreneurship education and increase the innovative potential of students. Teams consisting of students from city schools took part in the competition:
- Gymnasium of aesthetic direction
- Specialized boarding school-lyceum of information technologies for gifted children
- Secondary school No. 45
- School-gymnasium No. 34 named after Asan Taimanov
- Oqu School
During the competition, each school presented its innovative projects. The projects were aimed at developing information technology, entrepreneurial skills and creative potential of young people. Each team presented their projects using various technical solutions and quality proposals, which increased students’ interest in business and new technologies, and also gave them motivation to implement their ideas. According to the results of the competition, first place was taken by Serikkali Enlik, a student at a specialized information technology boarding school for gifted children.
The IT StartUP competition is an important platform for developing entrepreneurial skills among young people, supporting innovative ideas and finding new solutions in the field of information technology. This event gave students the opportunity to realize their creative potential and exchange experiences.
