Teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies of WKITU participated in the round table «Modern Technologies in Training Future Foreign Language Teachers», which was held on November 20, 2025, at the Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages named after Abylai Khan.

The event brought together leading scholars and lecturers from various educational institutions across the country.

Online participants of the round table included: Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, M. O. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, as well as the Kazakhstan–American Free University. Representatives of these universities actively contributed to the discussion of current trends in language education.

Participants of the round table discussed the use of digital technologies, the development of intercultural communicative competence of future teachers, and the maintenance of pedagogical interaction in the context of the widespread implementation of AI tools.

The faculty of WKITU made a meaningful contribution to the professional dialogue, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening inter-university cooperation and advancing modern language education.
