An important role in the development of veterinary medicine is played by personnel – the level of their professional knowledge, skills and abilities on the organization of veterinary activities, veterinary services of animal husbandry and other branches of the agro-industrial complex, forms and methods of organizing the work of veterinary specialists, the economics of veterinary business, methods and techniques of veterinary statistics.
Considering this in the draft Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on veterinary issues», it is no coincidence that one of the points is the TRAINING and ADVANCED TRAINING OF SPECIALISTS IN the FIELD OF VETERINARY MEDICINE.
In order to implement this project, on the basis of the Research Center of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University, from November 21 to 25, 2022, the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety organized and conducted advanced training courses for practical veterinary specialists of rural districts of the Mangystau region and students of the Faculty of Engineering and Humanities of ZKITUOP 6B09103 “Veterinary”. The topic of the advanced training courses is “Innovative methods in veterinary medicine for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of farm animals”.This is not the first format of such professional development, previously similar courses were organized and conducted for the heads of veterinary stations and specialists of Atyrau, West Kazakhstan regions.
Theoretical and practical classes at advanced training courses are conducted by well-known practitioners in the region and the republic: Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor E.U.Baitlesov, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor G.Absatirov, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor Sh.Shalmenov, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor G.Kanatbayev, Candidate of Veterinary Sciences, associate professor.K.Dnekeshev.
In the past courses, 35 veterinary specialists from rural districts of the Mangystau region and 4 students of the Department 6B09103 «Veterinary Medicine» improved their qualifications. Upon completion of the courses, students were awarded certificates of completion of advanced training courses in a solemn atmosphere.
