On February 13, 2025, a practice-oriented lesson was held for 3rd-year students of OP 6B07501 Standardization and Certification (by industry) and 1st-year students of OP 6B07205 Technology and Food Safety at the West Kazakhstan Branch of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory of the Committee for Veterinary Control and Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Practice-oriented training is a type of training, the primary purpose of which is to form students’ professional competencies in practical activities that are in demand by employers today, as well as an understanding of where, how and for what the acquired competencies are applied in practice.

Lyazzat Zhanaidarovna Tleuova, head of the Food Safety Laboratory, conducted a practice-oriented lesson on “Methods of food quality assessment” for students. The issues arising in the process of performing certification tests of agricultural products were discussed with the students, solutions to problems with the application of national and international standards were proposed.

We would like to thank Lyazzat Zhanaidarovna and the laboratory staff for their participation in the educational process of our university and hope for further fruitful cooperation!
