On March 30, 2023, within the framework of the «Decade of Science-2023» program, a popular science lecture was held with the head of the Department of Transport and Technology, Ph.D., Associate Professor Omarov Akylbek Nurlybekovich, on the topic: «Choose a profession in science».

Representatives of the teaching staff and students took part in this event. A.N. Omarov told students and young scientists of the natural science field about the advanced research areas in the world and the inspired them to choose a scientific profession by their own example.
