On March 31, 2023, at the Department of Oil and Gas Business of the Faculty of Engineering and Humanities, in order to increase the publication activity of students 6B07201 / 7M07201-“Oil and Gas business”, a scientific and methodological seminar was held in the direction of “Preparation of scientific articles based on research results”.

The seminar was opened by the head of the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering Samal Zakikyzy, who explained the scientific direction, then the head of professional certification and engineering Kayyrbek Aitzhanovich spoke: about the importance of writing a scientific article, as well as students engaged in science in the organization of the association “Kazenergy” and the public organization “Kazakhstan Khalkyna”, he noted that gives an opportunity to win educational grants of the Foundation.

Senior lecturer of the Department of Oil and Gas Business Yerbulan Samigollaevich said that in his student years he won a scholarship named after Safi Utebayev organized by the association “Kazenergy” and the company “Chevron”, also told what requirements and features must be taken into account to win these programs.

For example, in order to receive an educational grant or scholarship, students need: the first criterion is good academic performance, the second criterion is active participation in scientific projects and sports and educational events, and social marital status is also taken into account.

In the future, the teaching staff will assist students in submitting applications and consultations for educational grants and scholarships.

The significance of this seminar was that the students’ interest in science increased, as well as the desire to receive educational grants and scholarships increased.
