WKITU students became the winners of the open tournament held from October 6 to October 8, 2023 in volleyball among men’s teams of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The tournament was dedicated to the 60-th anniversary of WKATU named after Zhangir Khan. In total, teams from 7 universities took part in the republican championship among universities: Atyrau Oil and Gas University named after S. Utebaev (Atyrau), KazNMU named after S. Zh. Asfendiyarov (Almaty), Aktobe Regional University named after. K. Zhubanov (Aktobe), KazIITU, WKU named after. M. Utemisov, WKITU, WKATU named after Zhangir Khan. In the competition, which lasted two days, our athletes won with a big advantage. On behalf of the rector’s office, we thank the instructors Bulatov O.K. and Zhumarstanov K.O., who prepared and led our young athletes to victory.
