On April 28, 2025, the Department of Foreign Languages ​​and Translation Studies held an open study entitled “The Hero’s Name is in the Memory of the People” (“Yer yesimi – yel yesinde”) dedicated to the 80^th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 115^th anniversary of the birth of the Hero of the Soviet Union, writer, famous soldier of the Second World War, military commander – Bauyrzhan Momyshuly. The event was aimed at developing a sense of patriotism in students, respect for the historical past, as well as developing their linguistic and cultural competence. As part of the study, students gave presentations dedicated to the life and military path of Bauyrzhan Momyshuly, read excerpts from his works, and shared their thoughts.
