On November 12, 2025, as part of Quality Week, first-year students majoring in Law Enforcement organized an open court hearing on the topic “Domestic Violence Is Not Love.”
The purpose of the event was to improve legal literacy among young people, prevent domestic violence, and foster respect, mutual understanding, and family values. During the trial, the students performed a mock trial based on real-life situations, clearly demonstrating that any violence has serious legal consequences. Participants and spectators had the opportunity to reflect on the importance of legality, justice, and the personal responsibility of every citizen.
Alimzhan Abzalovich Kubashev, senior lecturer in the Department of History and Law, was responsible for the event, noted the high level of students’ preparation, their active civic position, and emphasized the importance of such practical classes in developing the professional and personal qualities of future law enforcement officers. This event was not only a practical experience in applying theoretical knowledge, but also an important step in developing a culture of non-violence, peace, and mutual respect in society.
