On January 23, 2025, the Olympiad in mathematics, physics and computer science among 11th grade students of secondary schools in Uralsk was held at Batys Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University. The event was organized by the Department of Energy, Automation and Computer Engineering.
71 students took part in the Olympiad. The main objectives of the event were to test the knowledge of schoolchildren in these subjects, identify their scientific talents, stimulate interest in the chosen disciplines, as well as motivate them to choose specialties in the field of science, technology and engineering.
A jury consisting of highly qualified university specialists was created to evaluate the work of the participants.:

- Bisengalieva Asyl Makimova, Master of Technical Sciences, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Physics
- Utesheva Gulnara Shaukatovna, Master of Technical Sciences, Head of the Department of Energy, Automation and Computer Engineering
According to the results of the Olympiad, the winners were determined in each of the disciplines that were recommended for awarding by the university’s competition committee.

At the end of the Olympiad, all the winners and participants were awarded with diplomas and certificates. This event was a vivid example of the high level of educational activity of our university and an important step in supporting gifted children. It has played an important role in developing students’ interest in science and technology, as well as in stimulating their desire for scientific research and study at technical universities.
