From December 17 to December 30, 2024, faculty members from the Departments of Energy, Automation, and Computer Technology, Veterinary and Technosphere Safety, Transport and Technology, Oil and Gas Engineering, as well as Law, successfully completed a professional development course titled “Introduction to AI and GPT in Education,” organized by the International University of Information Technologies (MUIIT).

The course was designed to provide theoretical knowledge and practical skills in applying artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, including generative models (GPT), in educational activities.

The course covered the following topics:

• The history and development of artificial intelligence;
• Key concepts and algorithms of AI;
• The role of GPT in creating educational materials;
• Ethical and legal aspects of using AI in education.

Upon completing the program, the faculty members received a 72-hour professional development certificate.
