On May 8, 2025, an open educational lesson was held at the Department of Architecture and Construction among students of the educational programs 6B07301 – Architecture, 6B07303 – Land Management and Cadastre, grandparents of students who participated in the Great Patriotic War. The educational hour is aimed at remembering the heroic past through personal family stories. The students shared their memories of their grandparents who participated in the Great Patriotic War. Aruzhan Orazbekova shared her personal family story about Tulebai Knyazov’s grandfather, who participated in the Great Patriotic War. Tulebai Knyazov spent 15 days at the Pasha station in the Leningrad region, where he learned how to shoot a machine gun. Aliya Moldagulova, who was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union in the Kobdinsky district of Aktobe region, attended the 15-day seminar.
