The Center for Educational Technologies and Blended Learning at the Institute of Education and Management of the University regularly holds methodological seminars devoted to the analysis of various aspects of artificial intelligence and its use in education, the main trend of our time. The seminar, held on February 25, 2025, was devoted to the topic “Artificial Intelligence in Education and Science: New Achievements and New Tools”. The head of the center, Bakhisheva S.M. opened the seminar and made a presentation on the topic: “AI Capabilities and the Requirements of the Time in Education and Research Activities”. Then, Candidate of History Yernazarov Zh.T. shared his experience in using AI and introduced some tools. Senior lecturer Narimanova A.Zh. shared her experience in the practical application of the “Zotero: formatting links to articles” method, which is so necessary for research work, PhD Tikhonyuk E.V. gave a presentation on “Artificial Intelligence in Teaching and Learning Foreign Languages: Global Experience, Tools, and Cases.” One of the organizers of the online seminar, PhD student Zinur Mukhtar introduced the participants to the ethics of using and the capabilities of an online board built into a neural network. vice-rector for academic affairs of the University Mashanova S.A. spoke about the role of modern methodological seminars on this topic. At the end of the seminar, there was an exchange of views on the use of ChatGPT, Deep Research, Deepseek, Grok and Gemini, GPT-4 Turbo, Qwen2.5 Max, etc., and the role of instructors in them.
