On April 23, 2024, the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering of the Institute of Industrial Technologies held a meeting of the Academic committee, which was attended by stakeholders: senior supervisor of the reservoir pressure maintenance system of LLP “Zhaikmunai” Rakhmetullin Yerlan Gumarovich, General Director of LLP “Aksai Engineering & Service Company” Zulkarnaev Zhastalap Eskindirovich, the teaching staff and students of the department of EP 6B07201, 7M07201/7M07202 – Oil and gas business.

At the meeting of the Academic committee, the specifics of the development and updating of educational programs and making changes to the content of educational programs, taking into account the needs of stakeholders and modern labor market requirements, were considered. The results of the meeting of the academic committee were: development of common decisions on amendments to EP 6B07201, 7M07201/7M07202 – Oil and gas business.

During the meeting, issues such as: knowledge of students on regulatory documents, project documents for the development of oil fields, as well as work on the latest IT technology programs in the oil and gas industry were discussed.

The meeting was useful; the students also took an active part in the dialogue and discussion. Separately, the issue of trainees’ practical training at oil and gas enterprises of Uralsk and West Kazakhstan region was touched upon.
