On April 29, 2023, within the framework of the visiting meeting of the Association of Universities of Kazakhstan, the Research and Production Center for Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology of the IHF WKITU was visited by the Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek, scientists and rectors of private universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Research and Production Center for Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology is equipped with modern instruments and equipment, and is designed to conduct scientific research in priority areas in the field of agriculture, veterinary medicine, meat and dairy products processing technology. On the basis of the Scientific and Practical Center for Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology, university scientists carry out research activities in accordance with the priority areas of national policy, reflected in the state programs for the development of science and education, industrial and innovative development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, the Minister and guests got acquainted with the results and prospects of scientific programs and projects of scientists in the field of veterinary medicine: diagnostics and prevention of various pathologies of agricultural and wild animals, as well as biotechnology and prevention of pathologies of reproduction of farm animals

In addition, educational and practical classes were demonstrated in laboratories: veterinary and sanitary examination; pharmacology and toxicology; microbiology and immunology; surgery and obstetrics; as well as medical examination of veterinary diseases on animals of a veterinary clinic.
