On October 30, 2025, a meeting with first-year students was held at the Institute of Education and Management of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University. The topic was “Building students’ immunity to the ideology of destructive religious movements, preventing extremism and terrorism, and promoting National and traditional values.”
The main aim of the event was to improve young people’s religious literacy, strengthen their spiritual and National values, and explain ways to protect themselves from the influence of radical ideologies.
Special guests from the West Kazakhstan Region Department of Religious Affairs were invited to the meeting:
– Adaikhan Bagdat Kanatuly, religious scholar and specialist at the Center for the Study of Religious Issues;
– Kusainov Dauletkerei Atauuly, director of the Kadyr Center, poet, composer, kuyshi performer, and historian.
During the meeting, the guests engaged in an open dialogue with the students, discussing the importance of traditional Islamic values and ways to maintain social stability. Participants were also taught the importance of maintaining critical thinking and avoiding the influence of radical and extremist ideas. Students received answers to their questions and shared their views.
