The West Kazakhstan Chess Federation has sent a letter of appreciation to our university. The organization highly praised the university’s contribution, and that of Aigul Bozymova personally, to the development and promotion of chess in the city.

This year, with the support of the university, two major events were successfully organized: the rated tournament “Uralsk Autumn” and the city blitz tournament “OCTOBER CHESS”, dedicated to Republic Day of Kazakhstan. These events brought together both young chess players and seasoned veterans, becoming a significant contribution to the development of the region’s intellectual movement.

The Chess Federation noted that the university’s support is warmly appreciated by young talents, their parents, and experienced athletes alike.

We are proud that the university’s initiative and attention to chess development are being recognized and are helping to foster a culture of intellectual sport among the youth.
