On January 11, 2022, the President instructed to create a public social fund “Kazakhstan Halkyna” to solve problems in the field of healthcare, education and social support.

On November 17, representatives of the public foundation held an online meeting with the holders of educational grants. University students took part in this meeting. The meeting was organized in order to get acquainted with the preliminary results of the grant competition, as well as to establish feedback with students. 24 students of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University are recipients of educational grants of the foundation. In her welcoming speech, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the public fund “Kazakhstan Khalkyna” Lazzat Chinkisbayeva congratulated the students on the holiday and noted: “Every child in our country should have the opportunity to get a higher education regardless of the socio-economic status of the family. We hope that the charitable assistance provided by the People of Kazakhstan Foundation in the form of grants and scholarships will be the beginning of your personal development, the beginning of a long road to the realization of your dreams, the support of your family and friends. Currently, at the expense of the Fund, 1960 students study and receive scholarships in 79 republican, state and private higher and post-university educational institutions. The grant covers the cost of training up to 1 million tenge and does not require “working out”, Lazzat Chingisbayeva said.
