Our university hosted a working meeting of the faculty of the Department of Law of the Institute of Industry Technologies with representatives of the Saratov State Law Academy, which is a key partner of the WKITU in the field of legal education and international cooperation.

Two leading experts arrived as part of the delegation of the SSUA: Oleg Vitalievich Devyatov is the head of the law clinic of the SSLA and Oksana Krasovskaya is a Candidate of Law, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal and Penal Enforcement Law.

The meeting was devoted to discussing topical issues of bilateral partnership in the field of higher education. The participants discussed in detail the prospects for academic exchange and mobility of the teaching staff. In particular, it was proposed to hold lecture courses by teachers of both universities, which will allow the exchange of best practices in teaching legal disciplines and promote the professional growth of specialists. It was emphasized that such mobility would strengthen ties between universities and improve the quality of legal training.

Considerable attention was paid to the implementation of joint educational programs. It was noted that the integration of the resources of the WKITU and the SSLA will allow students to receive education based on the best practices of both countries, including online modules and mixed learning formats.

In addition, the topic of participation in international conferences was discussed during the meeting. The participants agreed to jointly organize scientific events, including conferences on topical issues of law.

Of particular interest was the report of Oleg Vitalievich Devyatov, who, as the head of the legal clinic at the SSLA, shared his experience in organizing its work. He spoke about the structure of the clinic, where students, under the guidance of teachers, provide free legal aid to the public. Oleg Vitalievich was awarded a letter of appreciation from the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Saratov Region for the impeccable work of the legal clinic. This experience is recognized by the teachers of the Department of Law as very valuable, as they are currently working on opening a legal aid office.

The meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere, which lays the foundation for further deepening cooperation and successful implementation of joint initiatives.
