On December 19, 2024, the Department of Physical Education and Computer Science held a master class dedicated to the Lesson Study method – an innovative way of organizing the educational process. The master class was conducted by physical education teachers, an expert teacher, a master of physical education and sports of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Uralsk, Asylan Alibekovich Ismagulov and Gulnara Bukenbaevna Batyrova.

The purpose of the event is to introduce teachers to alternative principles of lesson study and demonstrate its effectiveness in improving the quality of education and professional growth of teachers.

In the theoretical part of the master class, the participants mastered the basic principles of lesson study, such as lesson planning, its implementation with subsequent observation, analysis of results, results and development of recommendations, and in the practical part they developed lesson plans in the Lesson Study format. That is, the participants worked in a team, modeled pedagogical situations and discussed approaches to their implementation.
