On February 11, 2026, senior lecturers and Masters of the Department of General Education disciplines Zh.B. Kurmanova and F.Zh. Razakhova, held a master class on “Introduction to Artificial Intelligence: Basic Concepts and Principles of PhD student’s work” as part of the School of Pedagogical Excellence program. The goal of the master class was to share with colleagues personal professional experience, unique developments in scientific and pedagogical activities, and the application of artificial intelligence in dissertation thesis. The event began with a presentation by Zh.B. Kurmanova, a third-year PhD student at ARU named after Zhubanov. She shared the rules for publishing an article in Scopus, formatting it according to the IMRAD (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion) structure, translating it into high-quality English, and submitting it to a relevant journal indexed in the database. Further, F.Zh. Razakhova gave a presentation, sharing her personal experience of applying to and studying for a doctorate at Balkan University (North Macedonia). She also discussed research methods and shared information about using the Turkish state platform DergiPark, under the auspices of TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM, which provides electronic hosting and editorial management for peer-reviewed scientific journals. Two videos from the Acamical sprint, a workshop on AI and Academia, ChatGPT, Zotero, research rassit, Google Scholar, the Nobel Akademik Yayicilik online library, and resources for finding dissertation materials were shown.
