On September 27, 2024, the teaching staff of the Department of Law of the West Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Technology took part in the international scientific and practical conference “Peculiarities of criminal liability and prevention of violence against women and minors”, organized by the Aktobe Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbayev.
The head of the Aktobe Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbayev, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor, Police Colonel Mukhametkaliev Nurken Zhanbolatovich opened the conference. The conference was moderated by Galiya Zhanabekovna Suleymanova, Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, Candidate of Law, Colonel of the Reserve Police.
Participants of the international scientific and practical conference: Russian Federation, Ufa Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Far Eastern Branch of the Russian State University of Justice, East Siberian Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Autonomous Non-profit Organization of Higher Education “St. Petersburg Law Academy”, Faculty of Law of Orenburg State University, Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Academy named after Major General of Police E.A.Aliyeva of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and scientific staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Head of the Department of Law of ZKITU, Master of Law Tuleugalieva Zh. K. expressed their wishes to the participants of the conference.
The conference participants shared their scientific views on the topic “Criminal liability and the specifics of the prevention of violence against women and minors” and statistical data for recent years, as well as their thoughts on measures to prevent them. Teachers of the Department of Law, Head of the Department Tuleugalieva Zh.K., Associate Professor, Candidate of Law Rakhmetov T.H., senior teachers Karagoishiev E. A., Sarsenova A. Zh., Oteuova A. K., Cherkesov M.A., made a scientific report on this topic.
