On December 16, the Republic of Kazakhstan celebrates a state holiday – Independence Day! “Independence has opened up new horizons for our country.
It was after the declaration of Independence that the process of diplomatic recognition of Kazakhstan began, turning it into a full–fledged subject of international law,” President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.
Within the framework of the program of the interuniversity week of ZKITU “Independence is the foundation of an eternal country”, dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on December 10, an advisory hour on the theme “My Homeland is Kazakhstan” was held at the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety. The event was attended by 2nd year students of the educational program 6B09103-Veterinary Medicine.
Over the past years, Kazakhstan has experienced the formation of a new statehood, while simultaneously carrying out effective economic reforms. This holiday is rightfully considered a symbol of freedom and independence of our state. In a short historical period, the people of Kazakhstan have managed to build a democratic, legal and economically independent state.
The event was held by the department with the aim of educating young people with patriotic energy, striving to love their country, land, preserve our sovereign country, and develop it. During the event, students watched presentations and videos about the history of Kazakhstan’s independence, shared their opinions and answered questions. The students noted that the independence of our country is a valuable heritage and heritage of our people, the key to our success and prosperity.
