A guest lecture session was held at the Department of Law of ZKITU for students in the educational programs 6B04203 legal regulation of transportation, traffic and operation of transport, 6B04207 Judicial and prosecutorial activities, 6B04202 Jurisprudence with students of the 2nd and 3rd courses.      

Kutasheva Lunara Kairatovna – member of the Legal Chamber of the West Kazakhstan Region, lawyer, professional mediator, gave a lecture on the topic “Organization of the Mediation Institute”.

Kutasheva L.K. told the students about the mediation and negotiation procedure, the concept and principles of mediation, the practice of mediation abroad, the scope of mediation and the difference between mediation and the court as a whole. In addition, she also spoke about the circumstances when the use of mediation is unacceptable in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Mediation”.

Special attention was also paid to disputes that may arise if a mediation agreement is not fulfilled.

During the lecture, students asked questions to which they received exhaustive answers.

At the end of the meeting, the students expressed their gratitude to the professional mediator L.K.Kutasheva for an interesting and informative lesson.
