On 02.11.2023, a round table was held at the Department of Law of ZKITU jointly with the Moscow University named after A.S. Griboyedov on the topic “Law in the modern world: problems, trends and prospects”. The round table was devoted to the discussion of topical issues and problematic aspects of the development and effectiveness of the application of modern international and national law, as well as the development of proposals and initiatives to eliminate manifestations of diminution of its social value.

Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations I. Zhubantaev addressed the participants of the round table with a welcoming speech, wishing fruitful work and constructive exchange of views on the stated topics. Rustam Bayniyazov, Doctor of Law, Professor of the A.S. Griboyedov Moscow University, delivered a scientific report on modern legal understanding, its concept and problems. The representative of the partner university highlighted the most important issues related to modern principles of interpretation of key principles of law. The problems of the distorted and self-serving format of law enforcement in various branches of law at the international and national level were touched upon.

Also, speakers from among the professorial teaching staff of the Department of Law discussed topical aspects in the field of combating corruption, criminal proceedings, migration processes, the procedure for the formation of norms of national law in modern conditions.

As a result of the consideration of the voiced legal aspects, a heated discussion broke out during which proposals and initiatives were formulated aimed at striving to make positive changes to regulatory legal acts regulating socially significant areas of the state’s life.
