On April 24, 2026, an open lecture was organized for students enrolled in the 6В01501–Informatics educational program of the Department of Physical Culture and Informatics at the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, with the participation of Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Fakhriddin Murodillaevich Nuraliev, a representative of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Al-Khorezmi (Republic of Uzbekistan).
The lecture on “Geometric Transformations on the Plane. Homogeneous Coordinates” was devoted to the examination of important theoretical foundations in the field of computer graphics and numerical modeling. In his report, the professor thoroughly analyzed the mathematical framework of geometric transformations (affine and projective), their matrix representation, as well as the features of applying the homogeneous coordinate system. In addition, examples of the use of these concepts in graphic systems, animation, and engineering tasks were provided.
During the event, students were able to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical experience and expand their professional understanding of current issues in the field of modern information technologies. The lecture was conducted in an interactive format, within which participants received comprehensive answers to all the questions posed. Such scientific and methodological events contribute to the enhancement of students’ professional competence, the strengthening of international academic ties, and the improvement of the quality of education.
