From January 19 to February 27, 2026, third-year students in the 6B01702 Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages ​​program completed a teaching internship at the Aesthetics Gymnasium, a state-owned enterprise on the Right of Economic Management. The goal of the internship was to combine theoretical knowledge with practical activities, as well as to develop skills in designing, organizing, implementing, and reflecting on the educational process.

The internship supervisor, senior lecturer Makasheva F.N. provided an introduction to the program, explained the goals and objectives, and supervised the students’ organizational work and the implementation of educational activities.

During the internship, the future teachers had the opportunity to develop their professional competencies in lesson planning, developing assignments in line with learning objectives, and applying assessment and differentiation methods. Particular attention was paid to establishing effective pedagogical interactions with students and organizing extracurricular activities. The results of the teaching internship demonstrated positive dynamics in the students’ adaptation to professional work. They gained valuable experience in teaching methods and adherence to pedagogical ethics. It was also noted that further work is needed in areas such as refining assessment criteria, differentiating instruction, and methodologically improving lesson structure. Overall, the internship period proved to be a productive stage in the professional development of future teachers.

Following the internship, a final conference was held, during which the administration of the “Gymnasium of Aesthetic Direction” awarded letters of gratitude to the staff of West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, the Department of Foreign Languages ​​and Translation studies, and the internship supervisors. The school’s administration expressed gratitude for their tremendous efforts in developing students’ professional competencies, disseminating modern educational methods, and providing high-quality training to future specialists.
