Today, on December 5, within the framework of the signed Memorandum of Cooperation between ZKITU and DUIS in the West Kazakhstan region, the KUIS of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducted an excursion to students on Educational programs 6B04202 Jurisprudence, 6B04203 Legal regulation of transportation and operation of transport.
The staff of the institution told the history of this institution in detail. Thus, the institution has a 165-year history and was founded in the XIX century, namely in 1858 as a prison and is currently an architectural monument in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The construction was carried out at the expense of money allocated from the state treasury by Italian builders. Despite the time, the students were of course struck by the architecture and quality of construction of this institution, where investigative prisoners have been kept all the time to this day. During the entire period of operation of this institution, not a single escape was allowed. The students were shown the exhibits of the museum of this institution.
During the tour, students were shown the buildings of the pre-trial detention center, including interrogation rooms by investigators and the work of lawyers with those under investigation. The visiting room, the screening room, the medical examination room. Cells where convicts who carry out household work are kept. They were also familiarized with the approved daily routine for the remaining contingent and their diet.
The staff of the institution answered numerous questions from students and invited them to practice with further employment in the Department of the Penal Enforcement System.
