On May 28, 2026, in accordance with the educational work plan, an educational excursion was organized for all first-year students to the Museum of the Police Department of the West Kazakhstan Region.
The primary purpose of the visit was to enhance students’ legal awareness, introduce them to the activities of law enforcement agencies, promote respect for the rule of law, and foster a strong legal culture among young people.
During the excursion, students learned about the history and development of the police service, as well as the important role of law enforcement officers in maintaining public safety and order. The museum’s exhibits attracted significant interest, including archival documents, historical records, police uniforms from different periods, official awards, specialized equipment, and other valuable artifacts reflecting the history of the region’s law enforcement system.
Museum staff provided detailed information about the vital role of the police in society, the professional duties and responsibilities of police officers, and the principles of serving and protecting the community. Students also had the opportunity to ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of the history and mission of law enforcement agencies.
The excursion contributed to the development of students’ legal consciousness, civic responsibility, and respect for the law. It also encouraged greater interest in public service and law enforcement careers. The event was successfully conducted, achieved its educational objectives, and became an important part of the students’ civic and patriotic development.
