On April 16, 2025, a joint academic mobility class was held at the Department of Energy, Automation and Computer Engineering between students of the educational program 6B07102 – “Electric Power Engineering” and students of Tambov State Technical University (TSTU) in the discipline “Unconventional and renewable energy sources”.

The event was attended by teachers of Tambov State Technical University — Head of the Department of Electric Power Engineering of TSTU, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Kobelev Alexander Viktorovich, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Kagdin Alexey Nikolaevich and Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Kamenskaya Maria Anatolyevna, as well as teachers of the Department of Energy, Automation and Computer Engineering of ZKITU — Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Sadykova L.A. and senior lecturer Sarguzhieva B.A.

Under the guidance of these teachers, students from both universities prepared and presented informative reports on topical issues of using alternative energy sources — solar, wind, geothermal and biofuels. In their presentations, the students touched upon the topics of improving energy efficiency, sustainable development, modern technical solutions and prospects for the development of “green” energy in various regions.

It is especially important to note that students from both the host country and TSTU showed a high level of training, research interest and commitment to scientific research. The presentations were accompanied by multimedia presentations, analytical materials and examples of practical application of the studied technologies.

The lesson was held in an interactive form with elements of discussion and team discussion. The participants actively asked questions, exchanged opinions and suggested possible areas of joint research.

Such events contribute to the development of professional competencies, the expansion of students’ horizons, the formation of intercultural dialogue, as well as the strengthening of partnerships between universities. It is planned that the practice of such joint classes will be continued and supplemented by scientific projects, exchange internships and academic initiatives.
