On February 15, 2022, the Resource Center for Youth Work of the West Kazakhstan Region organized a meeting with students of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University on the topic «Crime prevention is the main task».
The purpose of the event is to increase the legal literacy of young people, the formation of their active citizenship, cooperation with government agencies on combating offenses in society and the formation of the principle of intolerance to riots and minor offenses.
During the meeting, police Major Suykbaeva Ainur Zhanabaevna was given a description of the types of offenses that are currently most often committed among young people and in public places, specific data was announced, information was given on ways to prevent and bring to justice for them.
Police Major Emil Sharmenov spoke about counteraction to drugs and prevention methods.
The students asked the specialists of the competent authorities their questions, which were answered.
