On February 24, 2026, in accordance with the approved career guidance work plan, a meeting was organized by the Department of Law with senior students of Secondary School No. 2 in Uralsk. During the meeting, students were provided with comprehensive information about the educational programs offered by the university, the specifics of the academic process, modes of study (full-time and distance learning), as well as admission requirements and профиль subjects.
Senior Lecturer of the Department of Law, Kuatbek G.K., gave a detailed presentation on the academic staff of the department, the research activities of faculty members, and opportunities for students to participate in scientific and practical conferences, competitions, academic Olympiads, and debate tournaments. It was also emphasized that students are provided with favorable conditions for publishing research articles and participating in academic clubs and research projects.
Special attention was paid to opportunities for students to undertake academic and professional internships in courts, law enforcement agencies, public authorities, notary offices, and legal firms in the region. Information was also presented on graduate employment prospects, the demand for legal professionals, and career opportunities in both public institutions and the private sector.
Kuatbek G.K. particularly highlighted academic mobility programs and international internships within the framework of the university’s cooperation with foreign higher education institutions, noting that these programs contribute to the development of students’ professional competencies and the acquisition of international experience.
During the meeting, students demonstrated active interest by asking questions about passing scores, grants and scholarship programs, dormitory accommodation, and student life. Prospective applicants were also informed about student self-government activities, cultural and sports events, as well as volunteer projects. At the conclusion of the event, students were provided with informational brochures and contact details of the admissions office.
