As part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Institute of Industry Technologies, the Department of Law organized a Career Forum for students. This significant event, aimed at strengthening ties between students and potential employers, has become an important stage in the professional development of future specialists.
The Career Forum was organized to provide students with up-to-date information about career opportunities, job requirements, and prospects for law enforcement. The main objectives of the forum were: to introduce students to the practical aspects of working in the field of law; to discuss current trends and challenges of the legal profession; to establish contacts between future graduates and potential employers; to promote student employment.
The forum began with a welcoming speech by Talgat Rakhmetov, moderator, Candidate of Law, Honored Worker of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, retired Police Colonel, Associate Professor of the Department of Law. The importance of the event was emphasized by invited representatives of law enforcement agencies, among whom were Bapenov Nurhat Berkenuly, a police major, Deputy head for Personnel and educational Work of the Uralsk Police Department, and Azizov Yerkhan Dyusenbaevich, a police captain, senior inspector for combat and special training at Institution No. 74 of the Department of the Penal System in the West Kazakhstan region.
During the event, students had a unique opportunity to communicate directly with representatives of law enforcement agencies. In the format of a panel discussion, key issues of employment, career growth, requirements for candidates and professional ethics in the work of a law enforcement officer were discussed.
After the official part of the forum, individual consultations were held, during which students were able to ask their questions about employment, internships and professional development. The employers gave practical recommendations on preparing for interviews and preparing resumes.
The Career Forum has become an effective platform for students to interact with employers.
