As part of the event dedicated to the birthday of academician K. I. Satpayev, «Science Decade – 2025», a scientific round table was held on April 7, 2025, at the Department of Energy, Automation, and Computer Engineering of the Institute of Industry Technologies. The event brought together students from the educational programs «Electric Power Engineering”», «Automation and Control», and «Computer Engineering and Information Systems» to discuss the topic: «Artificial Intelligence: Impact on the Future of Technology and Society».

The purpose of the round table was to discuss the influence of AI on technological advancement, changes in societal processes, and to explore ways of using AI responsibly and ethically. During the event, 14 student presentations were delivered, covering topics such as smart cities, automation, education, healthcare, energy, the labor market, and social transformations.

Particular attention was given to the transformation of professions in the digital age, the integration of AI into management systems, and its role in the development of Kazakhstan.

The presentations were followed by discussions in which participants actively asked questions and shared their opinions. The round table became an important platform for the exchange of knowledge and ideas, showcasing the high level of student preparation and the relevance of the topics discussed.
