On April 5, 2025, for the first time in the country’s history, a new RK record was set for the number of participants in “arkan tartys” (tug-of-war).
On this day, on the Central Square named after the First President in Uralsk, 200 people simultaneously pulled the rope as part of two teams: “Zhaiyk” and “Yedil”. As a result of an exciting and competitive struggle, the “Zhaiyk” team, which includes students from WKITU, won.
This achievement was officially registered and entered the Book of Records of Kazakhstan!
