On April 26, 2023, WKITU hosted an international round table on the topic “Actual trends in higher education in the era of digitalization”, organized by the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology. The purpose of the round table is to discuss current trends in the development of university education in the context of global digital transformation. The moderator was Candidate of Pedagogics, associate professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Irgaliev Asylbek Sapargalievich.
The round table was attended by professors from the universities of Turkey, Bashkortostan and Kazakhstan. PhD, Professor of Istanbul University 29 May Göksel Ozturk made a report on the topic “The Common Educational Program of Kazakhstan and Turkey”. Also, Candidate of Pedagogics, associate professor of the Bashkir State Pedagogical University named after M. Akmolla Vakhidova Lucia Vansettovna deeply revealed the topic of digitalization in higher education. Also with a video clip and a brief introduction to the Bashkir State University named after M.Akmolla, its structure and educational system spoke Candidate of Pedagogics, associate professor of BSPU named after M. Akmulla Trofimova Ekaterina Vladimirovna. A research report on the topic “Modernization of Education in the Republic of Kazakhstan” was made by Candidate of Pedagogics, Professor Tasimova Aislu Akhmadievna, who analyzed and compared the educational systems of Kazakhstan, Europe, Russia and Turkey. Candidate of History, associate professor Yernazarov Zhaskairat Tlekkabylovich made a report on the topic “Prospects for the use of artificial intelligence technology in the educational process” and deeply revealed the issues of the possibilities of artificial intelligence in teaching. In the closing remarks, after an active and productive discussion of the round table issues, the head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Candidate of Pedagogics, associate professor Kinzhekova Ryskanym Salimovna thanked the participants for the topical issues raised in the reports and active participation.
